Evgeny is a partner at White Square, Dubai office. He has been based in the UAE since 2022.
He has experience both in consulting firms and at Russia’s largest exporter of natural gas and petrochemical products, where he headed M&A and corporate governance division.
Evgeny specializes in corporate law, M&A, corporate governance, sanctions, business structuring and has extensive experience in the energy sector.

Gazprom Export, the largest exporter of Russian natural gas, in connection with:
- management of M&A and corporate governance division
- preparation of commercial, operational and corporate models of international trading group of companies (more than 80 companies in Europe and Asia, midstream and downstream segments)
- acquisition (including antitrust clearance) and integration of European group of companies (Austria, Hungary, Italy, Serbia, Czech Republic) dealing with gas trading and retail, underground gas storage and transport of gas
- sale of shares in German insurance company SOVAG, including receipt of German financial regulator’s (BaFin) approval of the transaction
Gazprom Group, Russian multinational energy group of companies, in connection with:
- construction and exploitation of onshore section of TurkStream natural gas pipeline
- settlement of a corporate dispute with Bulgarian partner in the High Court of Justice in London
Russian Highways State Company, one of the largest companies in the sphere of construction and maintenance of roads, on the development of the interoperation system of the operators of the toll roads of the Russian Federation
BLG Logistics, one of the largest international seaport and logistics service provider, in connection with restructuring of Russian part of business
