Ivan specializes in banking and finance law, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience advising on syndicated and structured finance projects under Russian and English law, as well as project finance and PPP transactions.
Ivan's experience spans a wide range of industries, including energy and natural resources, retail, transportation and infrastructure, and financial services. Previously, Ivan spent over 15 years at leading international law firms, including Denuo, DLA Piper, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, holding a leading role in their finance practices. He also worked at a major investment bank, where he led select investment projects.

Alfa Bank, a Russian financial institution, on the financing of the creation and maintenance of a new fiber-optic backbone from the western to eastern borders of Russia provided jointly with VEB.RF
Sberbank Investments, an investment arm of a major Russian bank, on:
■ a number of acquisitions across a variety of business sectors, including IT, technology and construction;
■ the RUB 9 billion bridge financing of Bystrinskaya Mining Company for construction of a mining complex;
