DRAFT LAW ON THE REGULATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: WHAT TO EXPECT?

On March 18, 2026, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media released a draft law on the regulation of artificial intelligence (hereinafter “AI”) for public discussion:

Public discussions will continue until April 15, 2026, after which the document is scheduled to be submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation for consideration.
